But the blond wasn't having it. "Just tell me!" He hissed, but then pursed his lips and exhaled a deep breath when he regretted raising his voice at the curly-haired boy.  "Sorry, it's just... Can you tell me who told you about your birthday? I mean... You've been living in the underground city without any relatives or family at all, right?" Ryley asked in his now softened tone.

Dylan threw his gaze away upon hearing the question. He wasn't sure if his birthday was really that much of an important information, so he answered honestly, "There's... There's an old man who used to teach me to defend myself when I was still a child." Dylan started, "He always came once a year, every December 17th, and when I noticed it he said it's because he found me that day."
