Chapter 324: Chapter 321 - Please Make It Fair

"Sure. What can I help you with? Tell me." Adrian replied with a concerned look.

Nathan swallowed the bitterness in his chest, trying to muster up his courage. His hand clutched his laps as he muttered, "I..." he halted as terror flashed across his eyes again, the memory of the misfortune that befell him around an hour ago returned to his mind. But  then he continued, "...Can you help me to be a surrogate... but without the paperwork?"

"H-huh?" Adrian was clearly taken aback by his question. His brows crumpled worriedly as he returned the question. "Wha—wait, wait, hold on. Why do you suddenly want to be a surrogate?" 

Hearing this, Nathan didn't have any other option but to tell Adrian what had happened to him that he was so desperate for help like this. "The thing is..." He started, "I— I met up with someone earlier. It wasn't my intention, I just— I'm just trying to respect my father's wish so I went to meet him."
