Clyde shoved the letter inside his coat's pocket then walked up to Shawn, blocking his view with his looming figure. "What's wrong? She can't hangout with me? I asked her to come."

Shawn swallowed the anger in his throat and hissed, "What kind of business do you have with my daughter? Why did you ask her to come with you here?"

He might be Clyde's biggest hater and despised him more than anyone else, but Shawn knew he couldn't just talk rudely in front of him, not when Starla was there. 

"And why is that your business? Starla isn't a kid anymore." Clyde replied, his tone was just as cold as ever. He stepped up to him and slightly leaned down to match Shawn's height, then lowered his voice with an intimidating look. "Just to remind you, Shawn. Starla is my niece before she is your daughter. I can always talk to her or take her anywhere and anytime I want and you can do nothing about it."
