Lucas glanced at the papers Ryley hadn't read once the car stopped at a red light. "He was punished for throwing up during work, Sir. He said the guards did it to him."

He could still remember the horrid look on Dylan's face as he told him the kind of work he was forced to do down in the underground city. 

All the time he had spent his life there, Dylan had never known that such a place even worse than hell could exist. 

A place where all eyes turned blind to the pure malice committed against innocent lives, and all ears turned deaf to their muted cries as their beating heart was harvested like a piece of meat for hungry dogs to feast.

Dylan couldn't stomach the sight revealed to him as he was told to open a container and depose what's stored inside— A lifeless body with a hollow chest, and the worst part of it all was the size made Dylan realize that it was a child.
