Chapter 248: Chapter 245 - The Ritual

The suited up mortuary assistant with gloved hands immediately pulled one of the racks, showing the body of the same dead guy who allegedly sent an anonymous email to Ryley.

"This one has just died three days ago," he said, then casually walked to another shelf and pointed at one of the corpses. "While this one used to be that guy's only friend. He died two days earlier before him." 

A contemptuous laugh then followed his ridicule, creepy and sinister at the same time. "Shit... I wonder if they'd fucked before they died? Because if they hadn't then well damn... I guess they died virgins! Hahaha!" 

Ryley couldn't believe his ears. Why would this person insult the dead like that? 

But before he could react, a very familiar deep voice echoed, along with the heavy tread of a man's boots. 

"Hmm... This one got a pair of beautiful brown eyes.... Just like Ryley...."
