The Alpha subconsciously crumpled the paper in his hand upon reading the result of the test. His fortified composure crumbled when he lifted his terror-filled gaze towards Gloria, looking deeply thunderstruck, as if unable to believe what he had just read.

"Don't worry, your father doesn't know about this. I won't allow him to find out." Gloria reassured after softly clearing her throat, thinking she could take Clyde for a no-brainer. 

Did she believe that Clyde wouldn't be able to see through her facade? That the reason she chose to keep silent about Dante's pregnancy was for her own advantage?
