Ryder and Vincent tried to see the situation ahead from the backseat, but then Gabriel jolted in shock as he warned, "They've got guns!"

He looked behind and was ready to drive back the car to the main street, but a crowd of unknown shadows emerged from the quiet alley, blocking their path.

"Who the hell are these people?!" Gabriel grunted while gripping the wheel tighter. "Shit they are all fully armed! Where are the other guards?"

Vincent was no less confused. He took turns looking at the approaching crowd that would soon surround their car. "The guards' convoy must have been trapped in a traffic jam behind."

"These people must be here for an ambush." Ryder clicked his tongue in annoyance, then racked his brain and tried to find a solution. "Can't we just run them over?"
