Chapter 123: Chapter 122 - Not Much Different

Ryder swallowed his throat after hearing the question, it was too complicated for him to answer.

"Tsk, why are you even asking me about this? We were talking about your little fox and suddenly you act as if you're Socrates or something." He sneered as he snatched the wine's bottle and stood up from the seat.

"You're drunk. Sleep now."

He clicked his tongue, just a sip of wine and this motherfucker went philosophical all of a sudden. 

Clyde didn't let out a voice, the realization struck him hard, but he just couldn't sit still and wait until the worst fear came to him.

This might not be the first time he feared something from the future. But the impact wasn't this intense before.

"We're getting close. Landing is in a few minutes."

Ryder came back after putting the wine back on the bucket and listening to a guard's report, then saw his friend sitting idling.
