The next day, Sloane walked into Mila’s shop.

“Good morning, ladies! I brought coffees!” she called out.

Mila shook her head. ‘This bitch can't take a hint.’ She even wondered if Sloane was deliberately egging her for a reaction.

Her business partner looked at her. “Are you going to go out?”

Mila smiled sweetly. “You’re the face of the business. I have some stock to count.” She disappeared in the direction of the stock room.

Minutes later, the Delta’s wife came back traumatised. “She says she really needs your opinion since only you know her so well.”

Eyebrow raised, Mila walked to the front of the shop. “Sloane, I’m at work.”

Sloane pouted. “I know, but you don’t understand. I’m getting married in nine days, and everything has to be perfect. After all, I’ll be at the altar with our Alpha while you all get to relax and watch me. I can’t have my wedding not be perfect.”

“Then make it perfect,” Mila stated bluntly.
