Mila quickly found a pleasant rhythm with her new job. She had been pleasantly shocked when she found out that Josiah had found her a business partner and not a boss. The Delta’s wife was a pretty easy-going lady and was good at what she did.

Despite being extremely skilled in her profession, her administrative skills were seriously lacking. She thought paper was only for drawing or making fire, and this had caused her some trouble with the business.

Once Mila understood the business basics, she enjoyed the pleasure of having only one person to deal with and handling papers, boxes, and inanimate objects. For the first time in a long time in her life, she felt like an asset and not a liability.
