Zina's eyes quickly darted to the older woman's as she realized she hadn't had the time to inform her of the decision she had all but made earlier that day. In the commotion of everything that came after, she had completely forgotten to send Seraph ahead to inform her.

Who would have thought, even her normal days were beginning to drag out longer than she could have possibly imagined.

Zina tried to use her eyes to communicate to the woman that there was a misunderstanding; it was her that had after all agreed to this. But Sybril was too busy facing off Daemon to see her signs.

The three Eldermen faced Daemon too. One of the men of the two spoke through the mask covering his face and exposing only his eyes. "Your majesty, the people won't think kindly of you if you were to remove the Theta who just crowned you."
