they were doing missions in their team place since the last mission was an incredible failure, such a thing was needed

That damn Sasuke... I bet he isn't even feeling half as bad as he said and he is only lazying around while we complete missions..." Naruto grumbled, clearly dissatisfied and sleepy
"C'mon... we are almost done after we finish this we can-"

Naruto, who was a bit used to Luna's personality changes out of nowhere, didn't pay attention to her sudden change
"You're right. It's been so long since I ate at Ichiraku's..." Naruto said with a distant look

"man... to think it has been a whole day... I can't go on like this!"
Luna looked at Naruto with a 'are you serious?' face

And with that, idiot 1 and idiot 2 ran away
Luna looked at Naruto, knowing that he heard it just like she did, but she was surprised to see him not even flinch at the words
"Uhm... Naruto?"
"Yeah?" he looked at her, his expression unchanged

'...no, so... pure? I would be fuming in anger if I was him...'
'that's the reason, you aren't him'
"Hey Naruto, I never really asked you this... and if you don't want to answer it okay as well...

Luna knew she was being inconsiderate by asking this, but... she is just a kid, curiosity > reason

Naruto scratched the back of his head
Noticing the awkward atmosphere, Luna decided to change subjects
"The only monstrous thing about you, is your appetite, you know?" She said, looking straight at his face
"That's not true!" Naruto shot back
"Oh yeah? how many ramens did you eat yesterday again?" Luna asked, glad she managed to change the subject from Naruto's past to ramen
"Uh... three?" Naruto asked as he looked away
"Three? three your ass! it was eleven, ELEVEN!
