Chapter 128: 126 -=Who's there?=-
Revisiting Tazuna's house, had everything to be a boring experience for Sasuke and Kakashi
Naruto would have a blast seeing people he knew again, and Luna never went there, but the surprising thing is...
That it was so boring but so boring that not even Naruto managed to stay there for long
truthfully it was all about bad timing, as Inari was not home, Tsunami was not good at keeping a conversation going and Tazuna was generally bad when talking with people
So, they decided to go do something while they waited for Inari to go home
by the way, Tazuna told them what their mission was a while ago, protecting him while he was building a bridge again, it was close to Uzushio, and technically lawless land, so he feared rogue ninjas or something
yeah, the same thing as before, but now there was no one going after his head
In resume, this mission was basically free, and it only existed because Tazuna was a bit paranoid after the events of over a year ago
"So, what are you three going to do now?" Kakashi asked while taking his book out, making it clear what he was going to do
"I don't know? walk around maybe?" Luna said, not sure of anything not boring in this place
and I mean... what is she going to do? watch the waves? Ohhh, that's why it is the wave country? I see...
"I think I'll walk around a bit, maybe go to the forest a but, and then do some training since I have nothing better to do..." Naruto said
"By the way, any of you wanna go as well?" He asked Sasuke and Luna mostly, Kakashi was like a rock, he didn't like to move, but don't tell him I called him that... he jas quite a trauma with rocks, if you know what I mean
'Weird... why did I remember about Obito just now?' Kakashi thought in confusion, and it wasn't baseless, think what would YOU think if you suddenly remembered your dead friend while reading... that
"Sure, I have nothing better to do..." Luna said
'Yep, nothing at all' She thought as well, suddenly feeling the weight of the books inside her sealing scroll
and I mean, how is that even possible? they are in another dimension or something, but I think it was mentally only...
"Hn" Sasuke gave an elaborate answer while he also took a book to read... weirdly enough the boom had no cover... suspicious, but meh, It probably doesn't mean anything
"Well, then let's go" Naruto said while walking away, leaving the Sharingan book club behind
I mean, book club... Kakashi lost his Sharingan, in case you forgot. And Luna followed him shortly after
but, when they left, Tsunami, who was close by, asked Kakashi and Sasuke
"Is that girl Naruto-Kun's girlfriend?" She asked, genuinely curious, as they seemed close to her
Kakashi didn't answer, but Sasuke just said
"Naruto and useless 2? I don't think they are" he said plainly, but didn't explain anything
And if you want to know who useless 1 is, she was so useless she died before their first team meeting, so yeah... useless
While Sasuke calling Luna useless made Tsunami confused, she decided to not ask them again, Kakashi was a very weird man, she remembered and Sasuke was seemingly getting weirder than before... one year ago he at least talked somewhat normally, but now he is a weirdo as well
'Maybe that's a ninja thing...' She thought as she went inside the house again

After walking around the place for a while, Naruto and Luna went to the forest to walk a bit
after some minutes of walking, they arrived at a flowery field, filled with... flowers... what did you expect?
"Wow, this place is beautiful!" Luna exclaimed, so far she was not impressed with the sights in the wave country, but this field was not so bad
"Yeah, remember Haku, the one I talked about?" Naruto asked, having remembered his first meeting with Haku
technically second, since Haku saved Zabuza in front of them, but oh well...
"Yeah, the man who looked like a woman, but was a man that acted like a woman to confuse people?
Yeah, I remember it" She said
"I met him here
I was very surprised when he said he was a man" Naruto said, laughing a bit
that was a very... calm time, just a week or so after he got to know how bad the ninja world was, after seeing Zabuza and Haku die, but that didn't affect him much, as much as he sympathized with them, they barely knew each other
Looking at his pensive face, Luna thought it was weird
'Thinking and Naruto are two things that don't really go well together, huh?' She concluded
and I mean, she wasn't wrong...
Seeing Naruto was a bit down, most probably remembering something like Haku and Zabuza's death, Luna decided to call it a day and go back with him, to see if his friend was at home and then go read her dreadful books
"Hey, Naruto. Let's go -"
*Rustle*
But the sound of something moving behind some bushes caught their attention instead
"What was that?" Luna asked Naruto, the sensor
But when she looked at him, his eyes got wide open, his mouth forming an O shape
overall, he looked quite stupid
"Those chakras..." He muttered, before jumping into the bushes to look at something
Sighing at this, Luna decided to follow him, the last thing she needed was to let this idiot get lost in the forest or something
As soon as she saw Naruto, who was peeking out of the bush she decided to do the same, while mentally cursing
'my hair is going to get all messed up, isn't it?...'
But she quickly forgot about those thoughts when she saw the scene in front of her
a cliff
a very steep cliff with something hanging off of it...
yes, it was indeed... a cliffhanger
