"Oy!" Kaede said in annoyance

"Gah! even you Ceres?" Kaede dramatically fell back while Rimuru sighed in relief

Kaede who was falling in a dramatic scene immediately regained her 'life' and with the power of sheer fucking will, she stopped her fall
Meanwhile, Rimuru tripped on air, fell, and hit his head in a rock, immediately dying

"Ha! take that me!" Kaede said in excitement before realizing that this was not a good thing to say
"Oh my... to think Kaede was an M all along..." Rimuru said as he got up from the ground
"I'll kill you" Kaede said in an eery tone
"My, my... now even suicidal tendencies?" Rimuru said in a bad joke

"Tch" Kaede clicked her tongue and turned away from Rimuru
If you are wondering why Kaede and Rimuru can talk like this, they just divided their kinda shared mind, like when Rimuru made the clones previously

Kakashi sat at the tree stump as he waited for his little minions to arrive, of course, reading his book in the meantime
The first to arrive was Sasuke, who quietly sat at the side and began reading a book of his own
'Hmmm, there is some potential there...' Kakashi thought as he saw Sasuke take a book
it wasn't the sacred books series, but that's a start
'Maybe I can give one to him as a gift when he is old enough... the question is... when is his birthday? I'm not a fan of searching his ninja profile for it... but I also don't want to ask...
Forget it, he can buy the book by himself, I'll just advise him someday...'
The next ones to arrive were Naruto and Luna, who arrived at the same time because they were at the same place before
"I see you are all here already, so let's get started
Since our last protection mission was a bit... unusual..." Kakashi said in a weird tone
the bandage over his eye felt like it was weighing a ton...
"...Hokage-sama decided that we are not to do any more missions in the next week or so, and as such, we got some time to train"
Kakashi said as the 3 only listened, even the normally hyperactive Naruto wasn't interrupting him, which was unusual
"I got to know that Luna accepted to train under Hokage-sama's new medic-nin initiative" Kakashi said as he gave Luna an approving nod, making her smile
"So I took the task to train Sasuke upon myself" He announced
"Hn" Sasuke nodded in confirmation
"Uh... sensei?"
"Yes, Naruto?"
"What about me?"
"You are going to train with someone special" Kakashi said as he looked behind Naruto
Following his gaze, Naruto saw a man standing there and his eyes widened
"I'll be training with you?" Ge asked in an excited tone
In return to his question, He received a nod
"YOSHA!" He jumped in happiness as he received the confirmation

Back at Uzushio, Rimuru was using his skills to repair the village and add some personal touches to it in the process
Kaede was doing the same, because... they are the same person... technically...
The houses of Uzushio followed the Japanese building style, but since Rimuru was not really a fan of monotony, he mixed a bit of occidental style on some specific buildings, as well as adding some steampunk giant gears outside the houses
while it may seem like a useless detail, those gears had a meaning, they are there to activate mechanisms under the houses to power some seals later on, but the complicated part, the seals are yet to be done
"I can do that in two weeks" Karin, who was in a physical clone of her previous self, courtesy of Ceres 'reported'
'Two weeks is a long time... I think I'll have her focus on the defensive seals then... Unless there is a way to help her go faster... Ceres, can you help her?'
<Try ordering her to do it faster>
'Eh? how is that supposed to help?'

'... Okay...'
"Do it faster Karin. I don't have two weeks to lose" Rimuru said in a commanding yet slightly awkward tone
"Y-Yesh" Karin said as she sped up and immediately went to work on the seals, twice as fast as before, leaving behind a baffled Rimuru

As soon as Ceres said that, it clicked to Rimuru

Shadow monarch" Rimuru said in a serious tone, not knowing what to expect of this encounter
