Chapter 1: Prologue
[Place - Deep in the void]
In a dark space there was a soul.
The soul was bright ,but dim.
The soul was big ,but small.
It was full of color ,but colorless.
Most of all ,it was full and empty.
The only thing that would catch your attention is the fact that you could tell what it was thinking.
'???' - What is this place?
Is what you heard from it. Well that's enough of that. I know what your really here for. Your here for a journey ,an adventure. Since that's what your here for let me grant that to you.
While the mysterious being was talking to you something had appeared beside the soul in this dark place. It seems that you were to distracted to notice.
??? - Hello ,Young Soul. I'm afraid your life was brought to an end.
As cliche as this situation is ,you still listened in on what happened to the soul. For some reason you were curious as to how its life had ended.
??? - Well ,could you tell me why my life has ended?
As expected ,the soul would also like to know how it's life was ended.
??? - Unfortunately ,something happened while I was away and it ended up causing your death.
The response had confused you. You were expecting a clear explanation ,weren't you. Too bad. The mysterious being has only decided to reveal this specific amount of information to the unfortunate soul.
??? - That was vague. Well at least I'm finally able to see what happens after death.
It looks like the soul wasn't expecting the response either ,but it went along with it anyways. It would at least find out one of the greatest secrets of the world.
??? - I'm afraid not. You're a special case. Since the cause of your death was related to me ,I'm going to give you compensation. Looking at the rules ,I am allowed to give you 2 wishes. I can allow you to model your body for the next life you will have and you can keep your memories. As an added bonus ,I will also come a long to help you start your next life.
At last ,the secret remains a secret and you are unable to find out. At least you can join the soul on it's journey! Don't be so sad. You're getting what you came for originally.
??? - Oh well ,I can deal with that. I should be fine. Thank you. I must ask one thing though? Am I able to travel through different universes?
??? - Hm? Let me take a look. ~~~ It seems your allowed to choose 10 different worlds to be able to go to throughout your life.
This seems like it will be a fun adventure. You're excited to think of the prospects and glad to see that this novel has a planned end and is not just a random adventure until the author decides to drop the novel.
??? - Alright well I have my wishes ready. Am I allowed to pick the other 9 worlds later?
??? - Yes ,that seems alright. Please go ahead and customize your body first.
[1 Hour Later]
It seems that it took 1 hour for the soul to customize itself. You seem surprised? You thought it wouldn't take that long for it to create itself. Well It seems that you realized that they were carefully thinking the advantages and disadvantages of each part of their body. After taking a peek at their screen ,you saw that the soul had named their self. The name shows as Hana Utsukushi. It seems Japanese. Unfortunately they had hit confirm before you could see any other information. Though it seems you could tell they were female.
After deciding what they wanted their body to look like ,they told the mysterious being their wishes.
Hana - For my wishes ,I would like for my first wish ,to be able to pick one role from the town of salem game once a day and to have it's powers and restrictions. For my second wish I would like to have no upper limit in growth and be able to grow at least by 1 stat point a day in game terms. Say If I were to train for at least 1 hour by weight lifting ,I'd gain 1 stat point in strength. No matter what. Is this achievable.
??? - Yes this would be achievable. Unfortunately ,you have to wait until your 5 years old to be able to choose a role. I will have to ask you to say the first world to go to by birth in order to start your journey.
Hana - Seems fair. Alright ,my birth world would definitely have to be Overlord. Except I want to be born into the world Momonga is transported to and I want to be there 18 years before he gets brought over here. That should be enough time to get decently strong.
??? - That's a pretty interesting wish there. I haven't heard of anything like that before. Alright ,lets do this. I'll send you there ,but first since I'm going with you let me introduce myself. My name is Gaia. I'm the God Of The Earth. I protect the Earth from possible dangers. Although I wasn't able to save you from dying ,I was able to save your soul.
Hana - Nice to meet you Gaia. I hope you enjoy my company ,because we'll be together for a long time!
