Chapter 31: Chapter 31 - My Kryptonite

I walked into the bathroom, locked the door, pulled my hair into a messy bun and took a hot shower. I had to make it quick because the boat was rocking up and down, left and right. I got out and brushed my teeth. I guess I shouldn't be surprized to see an extra toothbrush, still in the packet ready for me at the sink.

Arggg... I forgot to take clothes. I wrapped the towel around me and went outside. I took a peek to see if he was there and he wasn't. Coast is clear...

I opened the closet looking for my usual clothing. It's like he knew. There were jeans and some of my favorite types of tops. Although there weren't any sneakers, but I guess my black boots will work too.

I took what I needed. On my way back to the bathroom, I saw him standing there leaning against the doorway, his hair wet, steam coming off his body and also a towel around his waist.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to grab some clothes," he said and came in looking very uncomfortable. He took out a pair of jeans and... holy shit! He dropped the towel and slipped on his underwear and then his jeans.

It was clear that he didn't feel ashamed of his body. And why should he? Look at him. He is built hard everywhere.

"Like what you see?" he asked, turning around with a smirk. My eyes immediately shifted to the ceiling when he spoke.

"No... Uh yes... I mean, I wasn't looking..."

He came up to me with his breathing picking up. "Uh, Trevor. I uh, you have uhm, very strong... uhm... very beautiful..." Thank you for shutting me up with your delicious lips. Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer. He moved with me until I was pressed hard against the closet.

And then I felt my towel slipping off. It wasn't him. His hands were on my neck. I'm not ready for this. "Trevor," I said and he stopped, leaving us both out of breath. "I'm sorry," he said. I raised to my toes and kissed him, "You have nothing to be sorry for. You didn't push me. You knew when I wanted to stop. Thank you," and kissed him again.

"Alright, I'll let you get dressed," he said and started making the bed. I turned to the closet again when he came up behind me. His hot breath on my skin. My back to his front.

"What are you doing?" I asked in a whisper.

He cleared his throat and said, "You, uhm. You missed a spot." I avoided his eyes. His beautiful eyes. My kryptonite. "May I?" he asked.

I turned my head to look at my shoulder and nodded. He used the end of his towel to dry up some water I didn't reach. When he was done, he left a trail of kisses from my shoulder to my neck. And then left me in peace to get dressed.

He sighed and left the room and closed the door. I saw a few drawers built into the closet and when I opened them, there were women's underwear. From lace to silk. I took out the white laced pair and dropped the towel and slipped into the underwear.

After I finished getting dressed, I folded my clothes neatly and stepped outside. "Do you maybe have plastic bags around here? I just want to put my clothes in them."

He nodded, opened a cupboard and took out a plastic bag. It's never been used. It was still smooth and it had no wrinkles. "Thanks."

"You're welcome," he said and winked. It made me blush so I turned around to avoid his eyes on me. He came up behind me and took out the messy bun, using his fingers to smooth out my hair.

We finally made it to the docks. Trevor jumped off as I climbed over. He took my waist and helped me get down. A pant always escaped my lips whenever he would touch me.

He opened the car door for me and slipped in after me. Jonathan went to the front and drove away. "Why aren't we going back to my apartment? I need my laptop."

"I've already sent some people to fetch your things. It's already waiting for you on your desk."

Why is he so kind to me? Me? Of all the women in the world. I guess it's something I'll never get to understand. He's going out of his way for me. Buying clothes for me. Taking me out on his boat for a first date. I wonder what he will have in mind for tonight...

The very thought of last night made me look at him. He avoided my eyes. He kept texting on his phone. I wondered who it was, but Trevor's a business man. He probably has a lot of people to contact. He smiled at one text. A small smile appeared across his lips and then he spoke, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Embarrassed, I looked out the window. I cleared my throat and answered, "Nothing. Am I not allowed to look at you?"

"No."

Then, his entire mood changed. Wait, what? What the hell is his problem? He always looks at me like he's undressing me with his eyes. He always initiates the first move of a kiss. Why is he like this now?

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked, looking at him again.

"No," he said, still looking out his window.
