Alex even more determined after he readed the book, thinking of various benefits to enhance his weapon with his newfound ancient knowledge. Alex contemplating, stood up and walked away from the temple holding his book, stroking his chin and looking at the sky the scythe floated and followed behind.
Then suddenly the bushes rustled and the trees swaying their branches, Alex his guard up looked at his surroundings then he looked up, Alex saw a white blusih milky light materializing right before his eyes. Alex then putted the book into his spatial ring and locking his gaze into this mysterious phenomenon, then Alex put on the stance to jump, exerting strength into his legs, he opened his hand and the floating scythe quickly dashed into Alex's palm.
Alex then held the scythe tightly and jumped leaving a gust of wind, nearing this mysterious phenomenon Alex tried to slash it only the disappear but it left behind a cut mark disrupting it slightly. His vision blurred and found himself falling high in the sky, then a black figure brushed past him and increased the gravity thus Increasing The Speed of his fall. Alex seeing this shuddered, thinking about himself 'why I don't feel fear?'.
Alex seeing the ground then raised his scythe and gathered earth element particles at his surroundings and swinged hard to break his fall, created a deep crater and earth debris shooting outward and dust covering the area. Alex actually created a unintentional scene.
His fellow students seeing this surrounded him and said
"Hey! Are you trying to get us killed?"
"Are you crazy?"
"You almost killed me!"
Numerous complaints bombarding him
Then Alex replied at the top of his lungs "How am I at fault?, that strange portal is at fault!, And a strange figure wanted to kill me just now!" Alex then raised his his scythe and leapt out of the crater and landed atop a crawling snake going towards his classmates, smashing its head on the process. "Now, all of you owe me a favor!" Since when did Alex become unreasonable?
*Clap clap*
"Now now everyone, stop your quarrels and let's go back since everyone is here" their instructor said.
Everyone followed behind, as they came out from the dangerous realm, everyone sighed in relief, thinking about how they survived for the past month. Then their instructor said, "Gather around everyone, because I have something to announce, which one do you guys want to hear, the bad news or the good news?" He said in a disappointing expression.
Then everyone discussed in hushed voices, other muttering something, then one of them raised his hand and said "We want to hear the bad news first instructor"
The instructor looked somber as he shook his head, "I'm sorry, but most of you will be expelled." "I'm disappointed," he added, his expression filled with regret.
He then explained the reason behind the decision, revealing that the majority of the class had used magic to survive in the dangerous realm.
The news hit the students like a sudden gust of wind, leaving them stunned and speechless. Murmurs of disbelief rippled through the group as they exchanged bewildered glances, coming to terms with the unexpected turn of events.
The instructor then said, "We aren't called the Academy of Arcane Arts for no reason".
"Your uniforms are portable tracking systems, it sends energy signatures to us, but we can't see where you guys are, this new technology is still a prototype." Then the instructor shifted his gaze to Alex and said, "I'm sorry that you got teleported high in the sky."
Alex nodded and said, "it is okay, I'm the one at fault here, I tried to slash the portal and I think it disrupted the coordinates, that's why it happened "
The instructor got surprised, he then shifted his gaze the everyone and said, "Moving on, as for the good news, everyone that tried their best will be given a compensation of tier 1 energy crystals" "And as for the ones that didn't use magic is Alexander, Alicia Valorn, and Jason Lynthyr, that's all".
