Chapter 38: Chapter 36
With both of them currently in a standoff, I quietly await for their next move's.

"Not bad... I usually throw my knives in a way that it hits anyone that tries to move. And you somehow manage to see through it, I'm quite impressed"
"You're quite an agile one as well, I never seen someone who's that quick to dodge a ton of gun shots from point black"
"Practice is key, I suppose..."
After a few seconds of their stand off the man then engage Null by throwing a knife directly at him. Seeing the attack, Null quickly evades the incoming knife by moving his head to the side. Delayed due to his dodging, the man then took said opportunity to get up-close to Null's vicinity. Preparing the knife in his hand, the man then tried attacking Null directly by slashing his body. Quick on his feet, Null quickly back's away from the man, evading the knife's blade in the process. Not wanting the miss the opportunity, Null quickly fire back at the man which the man was also to swift to evade.
Seeing both men exchange blows, I can't help but be mesmerize. Such quick reactions and mastery of skills, is something which I thought could only be seen in action movies. Yet at this moment, such fantasies are currently reality. I still can't believe what I'm currently seeing.
After dodging Null's attack, the man then followed suit by throwing another knife directly to Null. Seeing the incoming knife, Null quickly shot said knife which deflects both of their projectiles. With the knife out in the way, Null then continued firing his gun, which almost caught the man. Barely evading the bullets by the skin of his teeth, the man then threw something at Null's direction. Which Null quickly shot.
-Bang!
Hitting the mysterious thing, a loud bang echoed through the cart. After which a large smoke quickly engulfs the place. Knowing how dangerous it would be if the place was shrouded smoke, in his quick-thinking Null started shooting the train windows. One by one the train windows were shattered, which in the process stopped the smoke from fully engulfing the place. With the hazy smoke slowly escaping the train, the place gradually became clearer.

"Ahahahaha... Oh my... It seems that you're also quite smart. I really thought that I would have got you there, but it seems that I was wrong"
"Who are you...?"
"Oh, right? How rude of me. I've yet to properly introduce myself. The names Viper, nice to meet you"
"Viper...? You mean the one from the Underground Bandits"
"Oh my? It seems that I'm quite famous. How embarrassing..."
"If you're standing here right now, then I presumed that this incident is your group's doing"
"Well you're not wrong. This attempted hijacking if you can even call it that, was our doing"
"I see..."
"I really thought that this would go all according to plan. But who would have thought that someone like you would be boarding this train? Would you mind introducing yourself sir, I really want to know who you are"

"Null... quite an odd name. But who cares, right? I'm just really happy that I was able to fight with you, it's been so long since I have this fun"
"I can't really say the same thing"
Readying their stances, they quickly prepare themselves to engage another fight. But just as they start to begin their next attacks, another person from outside suddenly made their presence and disrupting the fight that was about to start.
"Hey Viper you done now? I'm already done with my task"
"Huh?"-2x
Looking back at the train door, what we saw was an odd woman dressed in a dark cloak casually standing in the back like nothing was happening. Seeing how she just mentioned the name of this Viper person, we quickly presumed that both of them are allies.
"Already?"
"Yeah... let's go now, I'm getting bored"
-Sigh...
"Fine... Well I'm very sorry Null, as much I would like to continue this. It seems that I'm already out of time"
"Wait! What to do you mean by-"
Trying stop both Viper and the mysterious woman from escaping, Null quickly drew the gun that he got from the Conductor and aim both his weapon at both of them. But before he can even fire both guns, Viper suddenly threw another smoke bomb which quickly engulfs the place in smoke.
After a few seconds have passed, the hazy smoke essentially started clearing out. And the once present Viper and odd woman are now gone. Seeing how both of them are missing, Null quickly looked outside the train to search for their presence. Seeing how not a single trail of their existence seem to be present, he quickly gave up in his search and then came to my aid.
"You okay, new recruit?"
"I-I.. Think I-I'm fine... I just feel cold for some r-reason"
"Oh god, your losing too much blood"
Huh?
Looking at my body, I manage to find that I'm covered with blood all over the place. It seems that the damage I took was bigger than I thought...
I-I'm I... going to die here...
Pain engulfs all over my body, as I lay flat in the train floor. Feeling cold all over the sudden, I can't help but shiver in pain. Adding the fact that one my hand has a knife stuck in it, isn't really helping my case.
"Fuck there isn't any first aid kits in this place"
Not wanting to see me bleed out, Null tried searching the place for any first aid kit. But seeing how there isn't any present, he then rips a part of his shirt to create a make-shift bandage. Covering my body in his make-shift bandage, Null hopes to slow down my bleeding until help arrives.
"Listen new recruit, I know that you're in pain right now. But please stay with me. I'll just go to the 3rd cart and bring the others here to help you. I'm pretty sure that Pebble has medical supplies in him. So please wait"
With Null reassuring me that he'll go and bring the others, he then quickly left the place and made his way to the 3rd cart.
With me all alone at the moment, I began breathing heavily to try and calm myself. Enduring the pain that I'm feeling I forced myself to stay awake, as to know that I'm still alive and well.
A few seconds has passed since Null left the place; my breathing has begun to slow down. My body feels like it's much colder than before, which usually is the sign of one losing huge amount of blood.
Shit... this is bad...
The pain from the slash still hurts as ever and for some reason I wasn't able to feel the sensation my hand. After a few seconds of laying down, my sight suddenly got blurry which was followed with me feeling extremely exhausted.
-Sigh-Sigh
So tired...
Feeling very tired, I can't help but close my eyes. Wanting to sleep away the pain, I wasn't able to stay awake for too long. Slowly closing my eyes, I coldly embrace the darkness as it engulfs me in my sleep.
Goodnight....
That was the last thougts i had at that time. And not too long after, I then lost consciousness.
