' Fuck am broken , I might not have asked for the most Op skills but am sure even with this alone I can even fight a Demon Lord , but let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet I don't want to die this early on '. David thought as he continued to go through his Unique skills' information.

' I have my own Great Sage or Success which will surely make my life easier , I really didn't want to work as hard as my last life only to die at the last moment '. He praised , but something took his attention , ' huh , am dead , I haven't paid much attention to that detail , I wonder how the oldman will take the news , probably get a heart attack hahaha what about Cathy I wonder if they will miss me '. an imaginary tear fell from him since he couldn't cry real tears and he remained silent for almost half an hour.

' Ok , what's done is done no need to cry about it , I only have to focus on getting strong enough to remain alive in this chaotic world and there skills that can allow me to go back to my world then I can see them again '. with the new determination David reassured himself.

' First things first I need to ' see ' where I am and find a way to get out of this lab '. he thought , ' Yeah , that skill ' Magic Sense ' that Veldora taught Rimuru '.

« not helping , but I guess I will have to give it a try »

David closed his ' eyes ' and tried ' feeling ' the magicules in air and it only took a few seconds and the notification came.

' what , that was fast , well I guess it's just that easy to get , even Rimuru Did it in record time '.

' fuck that's too much information '. the moment David said yes a wave of magicules spread out from him touching everything in the Lab and the information was tremendous which gave him a headache.

Everything started to get calmer as the information no longer caused him a headache, his vision became clearer and he could atleast see things from a human like perspective.

He looked around and he could see that he was in a rather large room that looked very much like a modern day laboratory , he him self was in a sort of glass container he couldn't feel any liquid but he could tell that he was floating , looking up he could see several magic circles and a similar thing below him , all around the room were containers filled with all sorts of creatures from monsters , demons and spirit to humans , elves and beastmen.

The other thing that caught his attention was the state of the lab , most of the containers had been destroyed and several corpses lay on the ground but the noticable thing was that some of the corpses had lab coats and if he had to guess he would say that they are the scientists for sure and some had armours meaning they were the guards and they were mostly humans and some elves , surprisingly they were still in pretty good condition meaning what ever happened here happened recently.

Looking back at the glass container he was trapped in he tried extending his arms to touch it and instead tentacle like things extended forward and touched it , freaked out a bit he brought his new ' arms ' closer to his ' face ' to have a good look at them and they were as freaky as he thought but the surprising thing was the glow they gave off and they were almost transparent.

« Success , why are my ' arms ' like this »

« no , not that , I mean yeah but why are they transparent and glowing isn't this supposed to be reincarnation why am I a ghost »

[ correction , you are not a ' ghost ' but an artificial spirit thus you possess a spiritual body ]

' yeah I almost forgot , what's up with my memory , now what do I remember about spirits , hmm '. David thought , ' yes , they are from the dwelling of spirit and Ramiris is the Queen , there the superior spirits and greater spirit , they are weak against angles but strong against demons , and can't be out of the dwelling for too long or will be corrupted '.

« do I need to be worried about the weaknesses »

' phew , that's good to know '. « but is there anything I need to be worried about though »

[ affirmative , Parasites require a host body most of the time or they will be ejected to the demon world and are more valuable without a host ]

' figures , nothing is this good with out draw backs '. he cursed fuck with everyone dead how am I supposed to find a host.

« hey can I atleast posses a dead body »

[ . . . Affirmative but it requires the soul to be available if not the possession won't last long and the body will continue to deteriorate with time , it's also harder to control ]

' well that's atleast good to hear , I can get one of these bodies and get out of here '. David was still in thought when something knocked over a glass he looked around in alarm and saw probably the largest rat ever , it was sniffing around till it found one of the corpses and dragged it away , seeing it David didn't know what to think was he lucky or unlucky , on one hand it may take away all the corpses leaving him non to possess , on the other hand possessing it would give him a better host than those corpses.

After thinking about it for a minute he decided that he was going to possess it after jumping from one of the corpses , but first to get out of this container.
