Chapter 110: The Wedding

Against my will, I eventually dressed up and headed for Hero and Mary's wedding.

Mary Earle, who would have thought? I mused, riding the flying car, a new addition to the technology that seemed to have thrived even more around us.

Aside from the flying cars, Marcus Zephanie made many improvements. What used to be mere buildings interconnected, he made expansions and added new buildings. Roads, parks and such have also been added. However, the night and day were still controlled and monitored by machines. 

But, despite that, it almost appeared that the world was coming together again, things becoming more and more normal. Except for the AI robots that Marcus has launched, everything seemed… fine, perfect even.

With the rest of the people oblivious to what happened a year ago, everyone else went on with their lives. 

How I wish I could do the same. Yet, memories of Rafael always invaded my mind, reminding me of what I have lost.
