Chapter 1: 1. THE BEGINNING OF THE END

She got out of the court and looked down at the money draft in her hand, she looked up at the blue sky and around her, she knew she was free now. She was free from the man who was supposedly her father but also the man who'd put her through hell since she left his house to go stay with her biological mother because he'd remarried and got home a snake in form of a wife. In the last 7 and half years, not only did longhui go from turning 14-20 but also saw her father die in the man who was now only her stepmother's husband. Longhui had seen worst of her days but only had her mother support her through it all, who stood by her like a rock. Her mother was all that longhui ever had and she wouldn't have it any other way, it took a while for her to realize that but with age and time, she did. Today longhui and her mother were free, freed from the dark shadow of her father lingering in their lives, they could now live their lives however they wished to. Long Hui had plans. She'd been studying Chinese as a language for 3 years already now so she decided to get a undergraduate degree in the same and also finally launch her own clothing brand.
