Chapter 46: Training Session (Part 1)

Leaning against the wall, Logan sighed and took another look at the clock.

6:15 pm. 

She's late.

He shook his head and crossed his arms before his chest. Logan had been waiting there for over an hour, as per the time given to him by Kira. Even so, he knew better than to complain.

After all, Kira was a busy woman who had a syndicate to look after. He couldn't just expect her to drop everything for him. Even though she was busy, she had gone out of her way to help him, and that was more than enough.

Still... if you're running late, at least tell me.

After their morning encounter, Kira suggested Logan take a break and recover his strength. He had done just that, thanks to the maid who had practically force-fed him and then knocked him out to ensure he could get optimum rest.
