Chapter 123: Forsaken Yard-2

"Don't waste time talking with the maid. These beggars don't understand polite words."

Anger was rioting inside Aylin and she just wanted to kill that guard for touching her so disrespectfully yet she was forbidden to use her mana openly inside the palace territory, and she had no other choice but to listen to the order of the Imperial guards.

Aylin seethed with mounting rage and humiliation as she pulled her hand sharply from the grip of that guard and glared at him. She was generally resentful of the situation. But, the other guard still requested politely, "Miss, we are not going to hurt you. It would be easier if you just follow me."

She spat out the words contemptuously, "But… I wasn't even aware of it. Why should I take the punishment for something that I didn't even do."
