"You fought him?" Megara asked Agnes in shock. "Yes, she did. You missed the drama yesterday." Marco said while tapping his fingers on the table. They sat outside the restaurant, under the open sky, waiting for their breakfast to arrive.
"Yes, I did. He is from the Shu Clan. He was getting on my nerves because I accidentally spilled my wine on his clothes. Fine, it was an accident, why exaggerate it?" She asked and Evenor clicked his tongue.
"He wasn't exaggerating. You were drunk." Evenor said and Agnes shrugged. "I don't care, it's his fault," Agnes said and both the men quickly shook their heads. "Everyone saw it with their eyes. It was your fault. You started it. That poor boy...if Blossom was there she would have smacked you in the head for embarrassing us. They didn't dwell on the matter because they saw me." Marco said in a scolding tone. Agnes' cheeks turned red in embarrassment and guilt.
"Fine, I admit it was my fault." Agnes let out.
"Ask for his forgiveness," Megara said and Agnes quickly shook her head. "Come on, this is not what our master taught us. It's your fault, you weren't considering your mistake first and now you refuse to ask for forgiveness? It's your fault, you should apologize." Megar said and Agnes growled in irritation.
"Fine, I will. Let me have my breakfast first." She said and everyone begin talking about the topic related to the martial arts world. Megara silently and carefully listened to them and only spoke when she needed to point out something.
While she was busy listening to them, she saw a familiar figure from the corner of her eye. Darting her gaze to the right side, she saw Evandros sitting down. The table he was sitting on was empty although the area was bustling with disciples. He silently sat down with a tray in his hand. Seeing him alone, she felt a tug in her heart. He joined his hands together before grabbing the spoon to dig in. The disciples sitting around were side gazing at him, whispering things to each other. With his head low he silently ate his food.
She licked her lips and parted them.
"Evan." She called him out in a loud voice. All the heads turned towards her including her three friends. They looked at her before looking at Evandros. He stared at her in shock. "Come here, sit with us." She said, patting the empty buffer beside her. He looked at her three friends and found them smiling at him.
"Come on, join us," Marco said while gesturing to him with his hands. He gulped the morsel in his mouth and slowly stood up with the dish in his hand. He silently walked up to them and bowed at them before sitting beside Megara. He put his tray on the table and lowered his head.
"Why aren't you eating?" Marco asked and he looked up at them. "Eating when Seniors are waiting for their meal to come, it's not appropriate," Evan said and Agnes dramatically put her hand on her chest. "It's been so long since I got this much respect." She said and everyone rolled their eyes at her.
"It's alright. Your food will get cold." Megara said and he quickly shook his head. "Eating cold food is better than eating before seniors." He said and everyone smiled. "You sure are respectful," Marco said. Just as he said this their food also arrived as well. "There, no one's food is getting cold," Agnes said and everyone prayed before scouring their food.
While Megara was eating she kept side-glancing at the boy until the boy also side-glanced to look at her. When their eyes met, since he was so pale, his blush was extra permanent.
She paused and stared at him in slight shock. He quickly looked away, eating his food hurriedly.
Did he just blush?
Why is this boy blushing?
She started to eat again, shrugging off the incident when all of a sudden she remembered something. Her eyes went towards his hands, kneeling observing his right palm which was not wounded at all. His left hand rested on the table...hmm, her wounds, her bruises, this morning all of them were gone.
She found it very suspicious.
She has never heard of such an ointment that can heal you in just a day.
Something was weird about that ointment and this boy as well.
With a confused grimace, she shrugged it off and quietly ate her food.

5: 00 PM, SUNDAY
Megara made her way towards the back side of the training ground. From today onward, she will be teaching Evandros some martial art skills. In the end, that boy didn't reject her proposal.
She silently made her way there, she was right on the exact time. When she was reaching her destination, something alluring fell on her ears. She heard someone playing the flute. The flute was played uniquely...whatever it was, it sounded very pleasing to the ear.
By the time she reached there, she saw Evandros sitting under the tree with his back reclining against the wood. He held a white flute. Its design was similar to the flute her master's wife Pheona possessed. So he is playing the flute.
She silently reclined against one of the trees and watched him play the flute with his eyes closed. She thought she came early but he was already there. She kept standing there until he was done playing.
He was startled when he found Blossom looking at him. His cheeks immediately got flushed and he quickly stood up. "Forgive me, I was too much into playing the f-flute. I did not hear you coming." He said. Megara shook her head and walked towards him.
"You played the flute very well. I liked it very much." She said, her features softening as she passed him a light smile. He blushed and said.
"I can play the flute again...for you." He said, his fingers restlessly caressing the flute in his hands. He was anxious. "I would love to hear it again." She said and grabbed his left hand, massaging it to feel his wound but she felt nothing. On the other hand, she also wanted to assure him that it was alright. He can be easy around her.
She looked up at his face and found it as red as a tomato. Her eyes slightly widened and she put her hand on his forehead. "Are you sick?" She asked and looked into his eyes. Suddenly something rang in her mind and she lowered her hand.
This boy...was he not used to such touches?
Why is he blushing so hard?
Is he a deviant?
Is he not used to a girl's touch?
He doesn't look or act like a deviant though.
"Okay boy, let's begin with our training." She said, stepping two arms away from him.
She is helping him but keeping a distance between them is also necessary.
They might be somehow the same but their worlds are different. Their aims are different and in this world... It's all about destiny which can't be changed.
