Blake arrives in front of a mansion with his surroundings completely covered in snow and grey haze "So this must be Alden mansion huh.."
"You're late Mr. Blake." utters a voice behind Blake
"aah!" Blake shouts in surprise "geez! you scared me!" Blake says trying to catch his breath "besides! its 9:01 i'm literally only a minute late!" Blake says to a woman dressed neatly holding papers in a file.
"I asked you to be here 9 o'clock sharp Mr. Blake." replied the woman "quick, follow me we mustn't keep master Alden waiting" she says as she walks past Blake into the doors of the mansion.
Blake follows the woman passing through multiple rooms and corridors until they arrive at a pair of dark wooden doors with silver handles which were engraved with elegant patterns.
The woman knocks on the doors and says "Mr. Alden the new helper is here, do we have permission to enter?"
a few seconds of silence passes by.
"You may enter." a voice replied through the doors
the woman pushes the left door and walks into the room with Blake following her close by
The room was dimly lit with a warm chandelier it had wine colored curtains blocking out sunlight from all the windows
there were books and papers in shelves lined all over the room with simple decor, some paintings
and a pot of plant in the far left corner of the room.
In the middle of the room was a black desk with papers and documents spread all over it and there was a man sitting in a chair working and writing on the papers.
The man looks up from the documents and glares at Blake
When Luis's eyes met with Blake a wave of nervousness and fear rushes over Blake's entire body
he gulps nervously waiting to see if the woman would say anything.
"Master Alden i have brought your new helper here" says the woman to the person whom she refers to as master Blake thought to himself "did she call him master? shit! i must be dealing with someone important then!" Blake thought to himself.
"I know Lilith, you are aware that i can see correct?" the man replied to what Blake thinks is his secretary
"yes master Alden i apologize for my repetition and for our tardiness" says Lilith.
The man stands up grabbing his cane and walks up to Blake.
Luis towers over Blake casting a shadow over him as he stares at the shorter man.
Blake couldn't help but sweat nervously and looked down at the floor
Luis grabs his cane and using its handle, he pushes Blake by the chin forcing the boy to look up and lock eyes with him. Luis pokes around at Blake with his cane to inspect him refusing to even touch Blake with his hands. "He will do." Luis says to Lilith "Go get him changed and ready Lilith, it disgusts me to see him in such filthy clothes" scoffs Luis as he makes his way back to his chair "right away master Alden" replied Lilith giving Luis a slight bow then she grabs Blake by his arm and they make their way out of the dark room into the corridor lit with the warm sunlight.
Lilith turns to Blake and says "The rules here are simple, you do as master Alden says no matter what his request is. You always refer to him as master and finally stay in your place." says Lilith to Blake.
Before Blake could even get a word Lilith clapped her hand twice and out comes 2 maids from the corridor behind Blake "Prepare him." she says as the 2 maid pulls Blake to an empty room and gestures for him to get changed.
As the door closes behind him, Blake takes a look around the room
it was pretty empty grey room with only a shelf, a closet and a bed.
On the bed was his work clothes, a white dress shirt with a long ribbon tie, some long black pants and shiny leather shoes
he sighs "well.. i guess i that means i'm hired" he says taking off his jacket and putting his new clothes on, tying the ribbon onto the collar of his shirt.
He smiles nervously and says to himself "you can do this Blake.." giving himself what little encouragement he can after the meeting with his new boss.
