HIS NAME IS GEORGE

A smile appeared at the corners of his lips. "I just want to pay for the ice cream, nothing more. Besides, I bumped into you, I need to make up for that."

Giving him an ardent stare, if it was another person, they would have shrugged their shoulders and gotten on with their previous activity but he was different. This man is quite resilient, she thought. He was good and his character was quite admirable, even though he was unfamiliar to her. 

After giving it some thought, at least she wouldn't use her money for her purchase, she decided to take him on his offer, "Since you are offering, it would be rude of me not to accept," giving him a polite smile.

The edges of his lips curled upward, "That is great," rubbing his hands together, "let's pick our ice cream then."

Halting her steps, "Wait! Before we go on, I want to ask you a question" 

His footsteps faltered as he turned and stared at her in question.
