Zayn (pov):

I woke up in hospital bed. I don't know what happened to me. I tried to sit up but I can't move my body. the door push open and doctor come along with a man. I remember he was the man who took me to this hospital before I lost my consciousness.

"doctor, why can't I move my body" the doctor nod and stand in front of me.

"I'm sorry Mr.Zayn but you can't move this. your body become paralysed due to the bullets that hit your joints and maybe for a lifetime you cant" Doctor Said holding the Clip board in front of him.

what! I can't move my body for lifetime. I become disabled. what have I become. the blonde man come forward "I tried to contact your relatives. the last call you made to someone. that lady told me she don't know you" he said "you are..." I said as I don't know his name and he help me so much.

"ah sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Karem". he said with smile.

"so you have any relative" he asked.

"Can you please call my wife for me".

"I'm sorry but that number is also out of reach" he replied.

Jeddah "what time is it now" I asked as I don't know about the time either.

"it's half past nine" maybe she is asleep right now.

"Mr.Karem thanks for your help" I said but doctor replied.

"your body needs rest now. you can sleep for some time". the doctor said and both of them move outside leaving me alone in despair.

I know Esha. she is selfish. at that time when I got hit she leave me alone. so what to expect More. I wonder what is gonna be next. it's like I'm bearing the punishments of my sins. I wanted to tell Jeddah about this. but in this condition will she also leave me alone. I spend my night thinking about my life and don't know when sleep took over me.

I woke up early next day. the same doctor entered in my room.

"doctor I want to discharge" he simply nod "you can't do this now, although your operation is successful but still your body is weak right now. you have to stay here for at least two days".

he was just telling me about my condition. when cops come inside along with Karem.

"we need to investigate" one of them told doctor.

the officer come infront of me and sit opposite to me.

"Zayn, do you suspect anyone" the officer asked. suspect, do I have enemies.

"I don't have any enemies. so there is no one to suspect" I replied sincerely.

"we check the CC TV footages near that area. all the records are deleted perfectly and the shooter surely wants to take your life". what. who wants to take my life.

"we will do our best. If you remember anything. please contact us" the officer said and move outside.

the same guy Karem sit infront of me and cut some fresh vegetables for me.

"I want to go home,can you take me there" I request while he just shake his head."the doctor said you can't leave" I cut him off " please I want to".

"ok then let me complete the discharge procedure for you " he said and move outside.

he wheeled me outside the hospital. the ride to home was quiet. I think he understand me and did not ask questions that I don't want to answer. just simple my home address.
