Chapter 2: Tales Of 3 WISHES. - Part 1

The next day Shuryam Chandraverma greets His Highness Aram Mahadev.

Aram Mahadev without any patience with enthosiastic voice asks Shuryam ,"Come here and continue the story from where you had stopped."

Shuryam replies, "Your Highness, yesterday the story was completed. What happened in those 4 years, no one knows Your Highness."

Aram Mahadev in a loud voice, "What did you say!? Does that mean you lied to me!"

Shuryam calmly says, "Your Highness I ask for your forgiveness, but I told you what happened in those 4 years no one knows or to be precise one should not no, and hence this will be left to your own imagination Your Highness. To compensate this I have another story ready for you..."

Aram Mahadev was very angry as if the dormant volcano could erupt at any moment but after hearing that Shuryam has another tale, his anger calmed down and he was eventually excited for a new story.

Aram Mahadev says, "You lied to me but I forgive you since you have another tale ready. Quickly tell the next story!"

Shuryam nods his head and says, "Yes Your Highness. So today I'll tell the T A L E S O F..."

Aram Mahadev: Tales Of...?

Shuryam: Yes, I'll tell 'T A L E S O F 3 W I S H E S'.

Aram Mahadev: Tales Of 3 Wishes?

Shuryam: Yes Your Highness, this tale revolves around 3 wishes!

Aram Mahadev: {Eagerly} Ok, start! Quick!

Shuryam then starts narrating the story.

"A long time ago there lived a giant Wolf in a forest named 'Jinna'. The Forest was vast with wide variety of trees, animals and birds.

"This giant Wolf, whose name was 'Sikar', was one of the strongest that lived in the forest. Very few could match his power and almost none could rival it's ferocious looks."

Aram Mahadev said, "This is just normal for a wolf to be strong and ferocious."

Shuryam without telling anything, continued.

"However there was something odd. Even other animals felt this oddness. Sikar never hunted nor ate any other animal. What he ate was... G R A S S!"

Aram Mahadev was shocked when he heard that.

"W h a a a a t t t....!!? A wolf eating grass. H a h a h a h a.", he could hardly control his laughter after hearing that.

Shuryam nodded his head and said, "Yes Your Highness."

Immediately after that he continued the story yet again.

"Actually the wolf was very kind hearted. He was raised by a group of sheep that also lived in the forest, but when the group of sheep came to know that Sikar was a wolf they discarded and abandoned him."

"But he was influenced by them and that was why he was very kind. But his body was different. His mouth would start to salivate at the sight of any weak animal, his claws would stick out as that of a predator and his looks were like that of an experienced Hunter! But he was kind.

His name that was given by the group of sheep-Sikar actually meant Prey, but he turned out to be a predator! He was very much unhappy because at the sight of him other animals would run away.

He wanted to make a lot of friends but it was impossible for him because of his looks. He despised himself for having sharp canines that could easily cut of a tree branch, ferocious eyes that could paralyze anyone with only one look and his big and strong body that could even break a boulder if crashed into it!

He used to save small animals from other predators but usually misunderstood as stealing the prey. He was very unfortunate!"

Aram Mahadev sighed and said, "Yes, very unfortunate indeed!"

Shuryam continued with a deep tone.

"He was so unhappy that he decided not to live anymore. Near the forest there was a huge cliff. He decided to jump of that cliff and die.

He went to the cliff and was just about to jump when he heard a voice as if calling out to him.

The Voice: H..E L P...Me , Someone S A V...E M E.

Sikar: Where is this voice coming from? {he turns back} Oh! I guess that little girl is calling out to me. She is trapped in the spider's web.{Because of his insane eyes, he could easily spot anything for 50m radius}

Sikar runs to rescue the little girl...and approached to help her...

The Girl: NO! Stop! A wolf! P L E A S E S O M E O N N E E! Mr. Wolf, I am not tasty. I am very small I won't even be able to fill your stomach so...

Sikar: Don't worry I won't eat you. In fact I came to help you.

The Girl: R e a...Really...? You won't eat me...right...?

Sikar: Of Course Not. Here you go....{Sikar uses his sharp claws to tear apart the webs.}

The Girl: Thank You very much Mr. wolf!!

Sikar: Oh! Your welcome. And by the way my name is Sikar.

The Girl: Pffttt, H a h a h a h a. Sorry, I never though your name will be.... P f f f h a h a h h a... a predator with the name meaning prey...h a h a.

Sikar: Come on don't laugh. It is my name after all. By the way What is your name?

The Girl: Oh! You might be wondering why I am this small. Well I am a Fairy and my name is Liliana. I thank you again for helping me.

Sikar: Oh No problem. Hmm so your are a fairy.

Liliana: Yes, and since you have helped me I will grant any of your 3 Wishes!! This is your reward from me!

Sikar: W h h a a a t t? No, how can I accept that. T didn't save you to get a reward.

Liliana: I know but I am giving this to you because you deserve it. Please accept it and ask your first wish...

Sikar: But... Very well then my first wish is...

Then he asks his first wish which was... Oh! Your Highness, it's lunch time now! I will continue it after lunch.", Shuryam said.

Aram Mahadev shouted, " N o o o o! Whenever the interesting part comes, you always stop. Well I will finish my lunch as soon as possible and then you should complete your story after that. Do you understand?"

Shuyram nodded and said, "Yes Your Highness!"
