~"That was close any more than that and he would have fallen into that shitty trap." Thought Shen Yue who was observing the battle alongside his servant and Aunt Xu who definitely was up to no good with this.
"Eh! What do you mean stop!" Peng Ju cried out in anger only to be hit on his arm by Liao Hao causing him to notice the small claw marks on his clothing to cause his shirt to deteriorate a bit.
Shen Yue remained silent thinking to himself as Peng Ju realized what would happen if Shen Yue didn't intervene. What Peng Ju didn't know was that Ni Kan's claws can extend and retract itself in an instant; while also being coated with a special poison produced by the demon spirit beast.
It was extremely toxic poison and every strike Ni Kan sent was to leave a natural looking "hole" in his guard for his opponent to take advantage of than he would use a movement technique to close the gap and as long as he touches him with the claw Peng Ju would be and a perilous situation.
Then the two "downed servants." would "wake up" and summon their demon spirit beast making the true three headed wolf formation against Liao Hao.
That was not to say Peng Ju and Lian did not have their own means, but, they were not that willing to destroy the sacred family property so both sides held back a lot otherwise Shen Yue wouldn't even be able to see them fighting each other.
Shen Yue's hair was long and wavy like the ocean, with the front tied with a topknot but without any ordinates. Instead of his usual black or blue outfit he instead chose a red hanfu, with gold as a secondary color. It came with wild, dragon like patterns giving his already handsome appearance a regal and royal manner.
But sadly that did not match his current temperament which was cold and lazy as if he was bored of sitting and doing nothing important but that was far from the truth.
Currently he did not know much of what he should do since he was new to this whole reincarnation business but he knew one thing and that was he needed to be strong and until then he should start building his forces and connections.
Aunt Xu didn't look that much different except instead of her usual purple color she instead wore pink for today.
"So why has a fight started right in front of the gates of our sacred manor." Said Shen Xu while thinking otherwise.
~"Why the hell did you bastards lose? Not only does this look bad on me who helps manage the servants, but the family prestidge was damaged as well!
So now one you will have their heads off tonight. I have to "satisfy." my nephew ,and his guest instead of interrogating him about what he's up to and what his plans are.
Ever since that illness he's been lessening the use of his servants and according to my other nephew has been playing with his siblings.
The only thing I was able to get from that guard I planted was that he wanted something made.
I wish that i could plant more eyes on him but sadly my excuse I thought out is now down in the garbage and I can only accept this loss."~ Thought Shen Xu in her mind as she continued speaking.
"No matter, I am sorry nephew it looks like these servants forgot the ones who are grand nobles are not them but the sacred family." She said not saying a further word and snapping her fingers left swaying her hips as she walked.
Ni Kan picked up his subordinates in response and followed Shen Xu from a distance leaving Shen Yue and the others by themselves.
It was now time for Shen Yue to speak.
"You did well, keeping them at bay and the goods undamaged so follow me to my room." Spoke Shen Yue as if he expected that crazy shit to happen, but in reality he didn't expect this at all!
He was just really sorry inside but decided to be shameless and just take them under his wing instead.
~"As expected, we passed the test and should be getting greater awards." Thought the craftsmen as they closely followed Shen Yue.
"I wonder what we are getting?" Asked Peng Ju using a set of signals to hold a conversation.
"I don't know, maybe an invitation to join his force and obtain some backing?" Reposonded Liao Hou with signals.
"Are your instincts picking up anything?" Asked Liao Hou to Peng Ju with signals.
"No it feels safe so far, I never thought this unique demon spirit would come in handy." Responded Peng Ju through the signlanuge.
"Speaking about your Demon spirit, I am pretty sure Shen Yue will ask about that so we should tell him upfront before he asks us about it. We might as well get something out of it instead of seeking potential death." Spoke Liao Hou quickly using his great dexterity to do the complicated hand movements.
"Agreed. I hope Shen Yue has a way of communicating secretly, since it's extremely hard without the ability to speak in each other's minds." signaled back Peng Ju who was fed up from these long sentences that after a few more rounds of talking would be obvious they were communicating.
"Same, let's gather our hope then." Signaled Liao Hou
"Agreed." Peng Ju Signaled.
After a few left and right turns as well as some brisk walking they arrived at Shen Yue's manor and followed after them being greeted to a more low-key vibe then they were used too.
The room had been positioned as if there was a feng shui master there, allowing for fortune and luck to be attracted and stay at the house rather than leak like the other ones.
There were mostly books and differently sculpted items with a wide variety of paintings hung up on the walls. A space was set out persumeley for music to be played.
Of course none of the sculptures or paintings looked good and clearly it was a beginner who recently started practicing how to do these things. The hope of the two craftsmen was that Shen Yue's music wasn't as bad as the sculptures and paintings otherwise they might have bleeding ears.
So after both of them placed the cases down, on the ground, in the musical area. They both waited for Shen Yue to pick one up and start playing music.
