Chapter 78: 78 - A Skull

Ariel disappeared once again and went toward the caves without anyone knowing about it. She had tried to complain a little about what was happening, but she trusted Lucian after a few minutes of arguing.

"Can I help you guys?" Durin interrupted, he knew there was something big happening and he wanted to know what it was.

Lucian looked at him and wasn't sure if it was a good idea to trust him. There was a good chance that he was under Alvin's illusion.

"Just answer this one question for me. Did Alvin, that old dwarf, never go back inside the cave for two months?"

Durin nodded. It was the truth, he had been couped up in his house for at least two months. No one had seen him come out ever since the disappearances had started.

'I probably got affected by him, just like Ava and Alex did... All the dwarves were also affected. Just how fucking powerful is that illusion of his?'
