Chapter 57: Shabby Raft

Zane frowned.

He had been searching for hours on end but hadn't found any other monster, it appeared that there were no monsters in this landscape.

He paused his search, then wiped the sweat off his forehead. He wouldn't admit this to anyone but he was feeling frustrated.

"Am I going to lose?" He asked himself, his voice was laced with disbelief.

Zane, as the heir of the Hachiman clan was expected to take first in this event. It was an unwritten law that the heir of the clan would always be the victor.

But it seemed like he was going to break this rule.

He tousled his hair before resting on a tree.

"What am I going to do?"

Ordinarily this wasn't a problem, he was sure that sixty hearts would be more than enough to qualify for first place, the qualification for passing was just seven hearts.

But someone else had eight hearts, even having the heart of a sub-boss.
