Alister's brow lifted, intrigued. "And you're certain you feel a connection to the egg we found?"

She nodded firmly, her eyes locked on his with steady confidence. "I am certain. Among the dragons I can sense, each one carries a distinct aura—a kind of energy radiating from their bodies like flames. But this egg… it feels different, unlike any I've sensed before."
