Chapter 178: Volume 5.177 Will of the Goddess?

Claudius, the high priest who commanded the assassination of Prince Maven, just stared at the sword he was holding. It was the sword he used all the time when he and the prince were learning swordsmanship from his father and before he entered the convent of the Goddess of Light. The sword also was used many times to practice sparring with the prince.

At the moment his eyes held sadness and pain as he continued to stare at the sword. As if he didn't want to stop remembering the memories he had with the sword he was holding.

Knock, knock, knock.

In just a few seconds he suddenly heard some unexpected three knocks on his door. He hid the sword he was holding immediately under his bed so no one could see it. He just took a few more deep breaths before he said something.

"Who is it?" He asked. 

"It is Eda, High priest Claudius. The Bishop summoned you to his office."
