Chapter 77: Melanie

We spent the next few days trying to keep everything as normal as possible, Blakes mom wanted to make an announcement at the end of the week about the death of the president and also that she was stepping down as Alpha and handing it over to Blake, it was also decided that we would make the announcement about our engagement at the same time because it would calm people down and give everyone something to celebrate, the good thing about these few days was i got to have Blake all to myself ,we got to spend time as a normal couple for once and i found i just couldn't keep my hands off him which he didnt seem to mind,we finally to our relationship to the next level and although it was a bit uncomfortable at first i can quite honestly say it was the best night of my life and i haven't stopped grinning since, looking at myself in the mirror closely i would swear there was a glow about me."mmmm very beautiful " a voice says makeing me jump and spin around to see Blake standing in the doorway watching me, i smile and make my way into his arms where he kisses me then says while rolling his eyes "my mother would like to see you ,she said to send you to the lounge", i look at him blankly "its ok she just wants a word about addressing everyone " still i dont say anything and then it takes a moment but it dawns on Blake whats wrong with me "haaahhaaa your wondering where the lounge is ain't  you? I thump him and stomp out of his room  but it doesn't take long and hes pulling me into his chest and kisses my neck until i moan,i can feel him smile into my neck then he points and says" go straight down the hall and turn left you'll see mom waiting for you" then he kisses me again say "love you baby "and leaves .                                I head down the hall like Blake said then turn left and there is his mother sitting on a couch waiting for me,im feeling nervous but then his mother smiles at me and say "Larissa its lovely to see you" "erm its nice to see you too Alpha ma'am " she smiles at me and says "nonsense, you are alpha now ,please call me Melanie, its been so long since i heard my name ,well  i just wanted to clear up what was going to happen we have decided to  tell everyone tomorrow, ill make a speech, then blake will and he will also introduce you", "erm do i make a speach?" I asked "well usually you would smile,raise your hand then give a little bow" Melanie smiles "is that okwith you?"i look at Melanie then make a decision "no i would like to make a speech too please" Melanie looks a taken back then she frowns and says "may i ask why?" I smile at her then tell her what i want to say and from the look on her face you can see the shock.
