Chapter 18: Jasmine
I'm laying on the bed when i feel like I'm being watch again don't get me wrong i aways have the feeling of being watched but usually it's coming from the big glass mirror but at this particular moment it feels like someone is at the bottom of the bed, so i slowly raise my head and jump out of my skin with a scream "ahhhhhh" after taking several deep gasps of breath i finally manage "who are you?, what are you doing here?" speaking in the lowest voice iv ever heard she replies"s...y my n...es jas...ea....imheret........set.....d...in.to.y....n.....quar.......s" "I'm sorry what ? you need to speak up i can't understand you" "Im sorry my name is Jasmine I'm here to get you settled into your new quarters" she basically whispered "oh,oh ok my names Larissa"i said i hoped she would start talking and fill me in on a few things but she didn't she just nodded and looked at the floor before saying " well i am your omega until you are sorted into your group" " ok jasmine so what does that mean?" " erm well I get your food, help you dress, clean your room and do anything you ask me to do" huh wait a minute do you mean like as in a slave, I say jump you say how high?" to which she just nodded,
my mind boggled this surely couldn't be true no way "ok so what happens if I don't want a slave?" her eyes become round and fearful as she says "if your not happy with me you will be appointed someone else more suitable to your liking" "ok" I say "but what happens to you?" at this she starts shaking be for she replies "for a minor offence ill get beaten and if I'm found to be unfit for duty is be taken away and deemed useless" she's shaking so much I'm surprised she's still standing "ok ok calm down I'm not gonna send you away ill keep you , I'm not really sure what I'm meant to do with you though iv never had a slave".
Jasmine spent the next hour explaining what my schedule would be which looked exhausting I might add
wake up 6 am breakfast 7 am omega work 8 am full training 9 am
lunch at 12.30 pm
full training 1.30 pm omega work 4 pm reading 5 pm
dinner at 6 pm
leisure until lights out 9 pm
except for Saturday which is full training all day and then on Sunday its 10 am till 12 pm reading
jasmine says the reading is very important as I have to read up on the royal family, they are the Alphas.
after going through my schedule with me I finally leave this room , as the door opens I notice nothing special , Jasmine leads me down a long corridor there's nothing in the corridor apart from doors like the one I was behind which leads me to wonder how many of us there are.
At the end of the corridor is a lift as soon as Jasmine pushes the button the doors slide open and we step inside, I notice the buttons say ;
Alpha
Beta
quarters
food hall
training
omega work
omega quarters
basement
useless.
Jasmine gives me a small smile and presses the button that says quarters then very quietly says " as iv been appointed to you, that usually means I sleep in your quarters with you, in case you need anything in the night so I can be on-call throughout the night if that's ok with you"
I have a big grin as I reply " yes that's great, it'll be nice to have some company for a change".
