Chapter 5: Dinner
I stayed by that tree crying until it turned dark then I lifted myself, dusted myself down, washed my face in the stream and headed home,
As I approached the house the light in the living room was on, I headed for the door then took a deep breath before entering.
"Ahhh here she is" my father called as I entered, he had a big smile on his face as if he hadn't grabbed my throat in the woods, mom was by the fire taking the rabbit stew off the fire ready to serve, she looked over her shoulder and smiled at me before saying "sit down Lissa dear, dinners now done" I slowly go to sit beside Leo who keeps his eyes down so I turn to Orion and say "hey Rye Rye" but he just looks down too, father looks at me smiles and shrugs before saying "they don't want to talk to you anymore they think your a jinx" tears well in my eyes "but why would they think that " rhy rhy, Leo," I say turning to them but they just keep there heads down and when I turn back to mother
And father she is looking at me with hard eyes and he is smiling like he just won a prize.so I put my head down finish my food and go to bed, before falling asleep I make a vow, I vow never to shed another tear again.
