The battlefield had yet to quiet down. The echoes of the battle had long since reached the town's outskirts and even filtered in through a bit but Zayn didn't pay this any more attention.

He was more interested in the soul particles that swept through his body in an uncontrolled manner and the goods in his surroundings.

Since his Spirits were recovering inside the Grimoire of the Ancient, their weapons and the black bandages they wore to conceal their identity had been left behind.

Zayn collected the large iron mace, the karambit knuckles, the black bandages, and the broken teardrop shield before he turned his attention to the remains of the Human Skeleton.

"I am curious about your past, but I doubt that I will get to know a lot about you now that you're dead," He mumbled to the pile of bones that had once been a powerful Skeleton with one Soulring. He collected the Skeleton's Armor and the Dao Saber which he stored inside his expandable pouch.
