As his consciousness reformed in another place, Gus began to take in his surroundings.
He found himself in a large, open room. The ceiling was incredibly high up, illuminated only by torches that were far too high for him to even consider reaching. The walls were deceptively wide, with arches carved out of them at the bottom that gave access to the area hidden behind.
The floor itself was also interesting to him. It was covered in a layer of water that thinly coated the top of the floor, hiding it from view. The part of the floor that Gus was on made him feel like he was standing on top of the water itself, but as he shifted his feet around himself in an effort to get a feel for the room he found that it was a little bit uneven, with the water deeper in some parts and other parts barely having any water on them.
