Standing at the well, Wang Yue had a wide smile on her face as she held onto the storage bag she had been gifted by Wang Lu. It was not something of his to begin with. The owners had already lost their lives. In a way, it was his to give away.
Just half a day after walking out of the space under the well, Wang Yue was standing before a massive water surface. It resembled an ocean, but the surface was dark, probably due to the darkness and gloomy skies above the water.
"This place is mentioned as one of the forbidden areas in the outer region and even my brother has yet to locate it. Since I am out for exploration anyway, it might not be a bad idea to venture in." As she said this, she stepped forward, directly entering the sea.
With the sea giving off creepy vibes, she still dared to jump in and move forward nonetheless. But it didn't take long before she attracted a group of sea creatures and a fierce fight broke out in which Wang Yue left behind blood and destruction in her wake. It seemed she was doing it intentionally and it worked as the beasts in the water seemed to have been stimulated.
Waves were rising, but Wang Yue was also daring as she moved forward unimpeded. Her aura was not concealed in the slightest, and this made her far more like walking tonic for the creatures in the sea.
Standing at the edge of the sea two figures had been observing Wang Yue's actions all this time.
"Brother! Is that woman crazy?" As for why the man asked this question, it was obvious.
The sea was among the forbidden grounds in this ruins and the reason for this was simple. It was a dangerous place with terrifying creatures sleeping. If one of them is even affected, escaping would be impossible. Wang Yue was arrogant to enter the place and even announce her presence out loud like this, in their eyes, she was dead.
It was clear that her actions didn't just end there, as she had unsheathed her saber. With every step she took, her aura became stronger.
But behind her a trail of blood could be seen.
"Brother! I think we are wrong! This is a mad woman. I once heard that some people will visit dangerous places like this just for the fun of combat. Looking at it, this should be one of those mad ones. We should retreat quickly." Indeed just as they said.
Wang Yue had been following Wang Lu all this time and felt like she had been denied the chance to test her combat power.
She wasn't just killing, rather kept trying to utilize her artistic conception based on everything she had learned from Wang Lu.
With every step, her utilization of artistic conception was becoming more and more terifying.
Behind her, blood mist was slowly floating, taking another step her aura grew stronger. Just being far off, the two men that had been planning to venture into the sea by some tricks and seek chance changed their minds.
"Brother! Let's go before it's too late." Staying and waiting for a chance was no longer ah option.
They knew one thing for certain, they had to escape, just because of Wang Yue, but also whatever in the water that might be provoked by the woman.
What Wang Yue was gathering as she moved foward was the Invincible trend, and once she started, it felt only natural to continue. This was a path Wang Lu didn't know about, but even if he knew, he probably wouldn't care much about it.
His thinking and that of Wang Yue on somethings was completely different.
The reason he allowed her to leave was also because he understood this truth. She had her path to walk while he had his own.
Even in the Wang clan, it is not easy to find someone with talent like that of Wang Yue.
As she killed the monsters in the sea, more stronger ones appeared but the results didn't change much.
One movr, one hit for each time she made a move was all that she had to do. As time passed the blood mist gathering behind her had already started to condense.
The reason this place was a forbidden ground was why no one with stronger cultivation dared to approach and those that arrived near, had to take a detour.
Clearly heading to the center of the ruins could be done faster as long as certain dangerous places could be crossed.
Wang Yue was the first, and her original intention was not venturing deep into the sea, but as she swang her saber, she felt her understanding of artistic conception being elevated along with the number of kills.
Even if the place had dangers, it could still allow her to become stronger, but as her invincible aura gathered, she was left with no choice and could only advance rather than retreat.
Such actions alomg with the blood red mist following behind her made her actions seem like provocation.
Before she knew it, she had attracted a few great Grandmaster level beasts. They weren't easy to mess with and this fight was also the one that resulted in her injuries intensifying.
"Satisfying! So satisfying!" She roared loudly as her feet stomped on the water and the dark shadow that had just been approaching her was crushed by the momentum travelling along her body to the feet.
"Come on!" With this shout, she took a step forward.
Her blood was boiling, but she ignored this and took out a lotus like leaf from her storage stuffing it into her mouth.
It is was clearly along the treasures that she had divided with Wang Lu.
She had found a better way to consume them, as such she kept stuffing them into her mouth as she fought.
It was also part of the reason her body was in such a miserable state, but the amount of energy she was unleashing was indeed not small.
As though she had provoked some existance in the water with her shout, the water started to churn, it affected a region of three miles in radius.
Instead of retreating she took a step forward, ignoring the warning that might have been just given by the sea creature.
Roar!
An angry roar stemmed from the waters, while Wang Yue on the other hand was laughing loudly.
She felt pressure from all around, it was clearly a sign of domain, but she didn't have any fear at all.
"Come on!"
The dark sky suddenly darkened even further and churned along with the sea. It was clear whatever existed at the bottom of the water was reacting to the probocation.
