Lance Hua slid his ponytail back over his shoulder as the tip of his hair brushed the medallion, distracting the view.

But Chiaki wanted to feel the silky strands between his fingers. She never had coloured hair, as it was too expensive for maintenance. And if she skimped on all the hair products, coloured hair tended to break the worst with split ends and coarse length. With her naturally subtle wavy hair, she was afraid that humidity would make her hair look like a lion's mane if it were coloured but not treated well.

"I seriously wonder about the selection of the Guardians. I heard you were brilliant at school, alright? But I see your face and no thought in your head as I explained about this immersive relic," he grunted low in his throat.
