Previously, she thought having to marry Lance Hua was for her sins, but she tried to make the best out of the situation by being nice to him.

But over time, Lance showed her respect and attention in his unique way of thinking, things that made her feel special. He blended with the family, he joined her in the events with her colleagues. And not once did she have to join the gathering in the Northern region after they were married. This raised a guilty feeling in her heart. How could marriage not be a reciprocation?
