Chapter 1: Chapter 1
"Do you Luna Bachlynn to be your forever wife to unite the kingdoms and become the future king? To protect us all to the death? Do you give your life to the kingdoms- er...kingdom?" The unitor asked the prince of Kardas.
"...I do" The prince replied
The unitor turned to the princess of Kalkan.
"Do you accept Cielo Márquez to be your forever husband to unite the kingdoms an-"
The doors to the Regne Unit slammed open and a group of men and women stormed the building interrupting the Unitor.
"We object!" One of the men yelled
"You guys came in too early" Vanessa said from the front seats. She stood and smiled at us, "Oh well. This just means that the revolution will have to start earlier than expected"
She walked down the aisle and indicated with her head for the revolutions to attack.
The people from the stands were scrambling to run outside or to at least get out of the way. The group didn't bother with the people running around. They were only after the royal family. Specificity, the prince and princess.
I jumped in front of the prince and formed my arm into the shape of my sword.
"Stand back! Go towards the king and queen!" I yelled towards him
He nodded and headed back to where both of the kings and queens were standing. They had their weapons out, ready to attack if they needed.
The princess next to me had her shield out, ready to attack as well.
"We keep close to the royals. Do not go off on your own" She told me
"Ugh. Yeah. I know" I tell her as I knock one of the women attackers down.
I swung my sword around and kept the revolutions at bay. Luna is also pushing people back but instead of knocking them down, she slashes her shield into their bodies and keeps them down.
I felt sick. There was so much blood. Sure I was used to seeing it and I have even been the cause for several blood sheds. But for some reason, something felt off.
Why is this happening? What led up to this?
"This would go faster if you would actually use that sword for what it's made for!" Luna yelled at me "Why don't you-"
A white light surrounded us all, blinding everyone. A second later and it was gone. Along with our weapons.
"The hell?!" Luna's father yelled as he shook his arm around "Why won't it come back?!"
I tried shifting mine as well but nothing happened.
The revolutions were also confused so they obviously had nothing to do with why our weapons weren't working.
"Shit" I whispered as the man I was fighting swung his sword towards my neck.
I pulled my head back, barely escaping his sword. I lost my balance and fell backwards. I hit my head on the floor and stars started swimming around my vision. Yeah...I'm just gonna rest for a second here. What about the battle? Tough luck.
As I lose consciousness, I hear a yell from above me then a loud clunk.
"Estrella? Estrella…!"
My vision turns black and I'm gone.
