Chapter 14: Decision

Under the giant tree in his courtyard.

Han had his eyes closed and was reflecting upon himself.

It was only once, and yet this incident was already sufficient to attract the attention of people who belong to the top.

Should he be low key? Live his life out quietly?

No, Han felt that that if he really decided to go along with that decision, the future path for cultivating would be a lot much harder.

Why should I remain low key?

Why?

Just because of being afraid of trouble?

No!

If trouble dares to find itself to my doorstep and present itself to me, I will deal with trouble!

Why should I avoid trouble just to live a peaceful life?

Was a peaceful life something Han wanted? No.

He wanted to become strong, and on the path to become strong, being low-key just because one is afraid of trouble will make listeners mock his dreams and laugh at his naivety.

Similarly, if he did not want to be low key, many conflicts would arise, but Han felt that he was capable of dealing with such matters.

The strong lives valiantly!

Its set, Han thought.

But to be strong, Han's current method of training wasn't enough.

He thought long and hard about the system, why did it not allow him to rank up like others through cultivating and absorbing spiritual qi from the heavens and earth.

It must be that the requirements to level was different.

For the entire morning, Han pondered and was reminded of MMO games on Earth, killing monsters and attaining achievements, was a popular method of growing strong in a game, was his system something similar to it?

....

Han was in the mission assignment tavern in the sect, disciples who wanted to earn resources could come here and take on missions, completing them and bringing it back to the sect for their reward.

There are surprisingly many people here, I thought it would be empty like the training yard and library.

Han scanned his eyes across the tavern, it was bustling.

Han was wrong, the training yard was not effective for disciples whose cultivation stage had already exceeded Qi Refining stage 4, meanwhile most who were in the sect already had their martial skills and arts picked out a long time ago. It explains the reason why there was not as many people back in those 2 areas.

However, the mission assignment tavern was different, it was the source of income for most disciples who required tempering and cultivation resources, this place was like a god send to them.

Han was a peculiarity, he had no cultivation and yet his body was already of the 6th stage Qi refining.

Increasing the cultivation of the physical body state was not a common practice in Xuanyu, most people who cultivate their Qi and Mana depend on magical spells, shooting fireballs and throwing out blades of winds. The only minority who did practice body refining belonged to the Knight's Association, they were a weird bunch of people who had persisted on the body cultivation path and had achieved some success and reputation for themselves.

The cultivation of the physical body was hard and took too long to see results compared to cultivating inner Qi.

But unknown to the majority of people in the Xuanyu world, training the physical body was an essential and crucial part on the path of cultivation.

Just by this alone, Han was already miles ahead of most people.
