Unfortunately, this story is not for me. First, a 14 yr old pining for a 5 year old felt off for me. Then second, the forced and deceitful marriage is a huge red flag. Lastly, a ton of face slapping and the mention of history of abuse is not my cup of tea. On to the next story
If you're into the typical billionaire-guy - poor-girl -with-traumatic-pasts trope with some (I suppose mild) pedophilia sprinkled in, this book is for you. I was invested, even after reading about the age gap, until i found out this guy is fawning over a 5 year old at the blooming age of 14. And he's been stalking her ever since. And once she's 'of age' he marries her without her consent, without even giving her the chance to know him and actually fall in love. To make matters weirder, he sleeps in her bed every night, without her knowing shes asleep in his arms. Nuh-uh. I get the forced marriage stories but none have been as bizarre and delulu as this.
