Chapter 156: A glimpse of what was

Shaking his head, ramsey seems to steel himself. He moves cautiously towards Robin, his hands raised in a calming gesture. "Robin, it's okay. Just take a deep breath and try to relax. Please."

Robin shakes her head, wincing as a sharp pain lances through her temple.

 "No, you don't understand," she slurs, her words becoming more difficult to articulate. "You we're there... when the jet suddenly lost control. Everything was on fire."

Ramsay's face pales. 

Oh no.

Robin's eyes go wide, the memories flooding back. The acrid smell of smoke, the roar of the flames, the agonizing heat. "The crash..." she whispers, her voice trembling. "So much smoke and flames. I couldn't breathe." 

She starts shaking, her hands gripping the edge of the table. "It hurt, Ramsey. It hurt so much."

Reaching out, Ramsey places a steadying hand on her arm. "Hey, you're safe now. Just focus on your breathing, okay?"
