Buttoning her shirt up, Adeline left her room, taking the elevator down to the last floor. She walked straight to Caesar's office in the building, and gingerly opened the door, poking her head in.
Her eyes searched around the room, landing on Caesar, who was reading through document after document and stamping them. There was a pair of glasses resting on the bridge of his nose, and his hair, as usual, was in a bun, this time a tad bit messy. But it was pleasant.
"Caesar…?" she called, raising a brow at him.
At the sound of her voice, Caesar immediately lifted his head, meeting her gaze. "Adeline." He took the glasses off, standing up from the chair.
Adeline shut the door of the office and approached him.
"Is something wrong?" she asked, her head tilted.
