Chapter 400: Darkness within (6)

              As if he had forgotten the importance of a good stance when fighting, Luke bent his body and then punched the monster. However, the creature blocked the attack with a cross guard. The monster was still pushed backward, but it just waited for the next attack while watching Luke.

"He isn't falling apart, even though he was supposed to," the monster thought as he watched Luke's wounds being healed at the same time they opened.

            The monster had realized that, but it never thought too much about it. But even though mana wasn't supposed to exist in that dimension, Luke was still using and getting more and more over time. That wasn't supposed to be possible… Eventually, the monster noticed the book that Luke had. He had been carrying that on his chest for a while, and despite the severity of the battle, it didn't suffer any damage…
