Luna's coma had transported her to a world of her own where she was the Queen of ancient Egypt, Cleopatra VII. Despite the chaos and destruction of the apocalypse outside, her mind had created a beautiful and peaceful dreamland. Luna was just an observer in this dream world, she couldn't control Cleopatra's actions but she could see and feel everything that happened to her. She watched as Cleopatra led Egypt, built a pyramid and fought wars against her brother Ptolemy XIII.
Luna also witnessed Cleopatra's affair with Julius Caesar, the Roman consul who helped her regain her throne, and the birth of their son Caesarion. Cleopatra and Caesar were in love, but their relationship was forbidden, which ultimately led to Caesar's assassination. After his death, Luna watched as Cleopatra allied with Marc Antony, and they too fell in love. Luna saw Cleopatra's defeat by Octavian, Caesar's heir, and her suicide by an asp's bite.
After what felt like a lifetime, Luna finally woke up from her coma. She was in a military hospital, and when the nurse arrived to check on her, she started screaming. Luna's parents arrived shortly after, and they were horrified by what they saw.
