Chen Fan frowned and shot Wang Zhipeng a puzzled look.

Wang Zhipeng forced a smile and said, "I get along well with the colleagues in the medical hall; we like to joke around like this. They probably have some problem they can't solve. Wait here for me, I'll go take care of it."

After standing up, he added, "There's no helping it, being in a key position means there's always an endless amount of work."

He then hurried towards the medical hall.

Chen Fan felt something was off and, after pondering for a moment, got up and followed.

Arriving at Tongren Medical Hall, Chen Fan hid in the shadows to observe. He saw that upon Wang Zhipeng's return, he explained something to a person who looked like a physician, hoping to buy some time, but the physician did not grant it and instead directed Wang Zhipeng to mop the floor.
