Nux spoke and suddenly, Lyriana turned silent. 

With her outburst over, she stared at Nux, waiting for him to continue what he was saying. That was how desperate she was, despite knowing perfectly well that what Nux said was no different than a joke, an impossibility, she still had a sliver of hope. 

Hope that she might actually get a second chance. 

Hope that she might actually be able to stand in front of the big fishes. 

"I will not lie, I still do not know how am I going to help you." 

Nux's starting words weren't positive, his eyes, however, told a different story. 

"What I intend to do breaks a few rules the Universe has set, it is not something that can be done easily, however, 

It is not like I haven't done it before. 

If I need to break rules, I will do just that." 

Nux declared confidently.
